Artist statement
I am creating an environmentally friendly soft toy aimed primarily at adults who might enjoy a creature of comfort rather than a child as the products are all hand made and delicate. I plan to approach the Irish Wildlife Trust about the possibility of donating to them a percentage of sales of my soft toy renditions of the endangered red squirrel and barn owl. The toys are made entirely from recycled materials and where materials are new, they are made from organic, plant-dyed sources. The business will be web-based with the exception of one retail. . .
