Education, training and development is at the core of the Crafts Council of Irelands, (CCoI), strategic plan. The Crafts Council recognise the critical role that education and training play in the future growth of Irish craft and in the preservation of our cultural heritage. CCoI works as an independent service provider and together with other education providers facilitates the development of education and training programmes to meet the needs of the crafts sector, both current and future.

PAST EVENTS 2009
Throughout November Generation Exhibition - Education & Outreach Programme During the 'Generation' exhibition the Crafts Council of Ireland's Education, Training and Development team ran a series of interactive education events including tours, presentations and workshops by some of Ireland’s most promising emerging makers and designers.
Mon 30th March 2009 Cultural Rucksack– Workshop for Arts & Craft Education Practitioners on Norwegian arts, craft and culture programme for primary & secondary schools.
